Korean craftsmen over at Gariz.com are preparing to release a fine leather half-case for the Sony NEX-7. The Gariz case, unlike any of the others on the market features a rigid metal baseplate with access to the NEX-7′s battery/memory card door. The case also features Gariz’ gun holster ring, a swivel ring on the bottom plate to accommodate his sling straps.
Pricing has not been set, but the case is expected to start shipping at the end of February.

How can I order this case?
If you are in South Korea (or read/speak Korean) you can order from their website Gariz.com. For everyone else, there are instructions on their English page. It is expected to be available in a couple of weeks. I can’t reach their site at the moment (2/24/2012).
Eh, don’t bother contacting the Koreans directly. I did that, hoping they would give me a better deal, but instead, their price direct from Gariz is higher than sold at the various online retailers in the US, which means of course that they were trying to rip me off. Greedy buggers.
What would you do as a Gariz dealer if Gariz would undercut your own pricing?
For the record, Gariz has started listing the NEX7 cases on their website for 95,000 Won ($85 USD) and on eBay for $115 USD.

Do you supply a similar one for NEX 5N?
