This shot was taken from the balcony of my friend’s condo on the 29th floor. Shot handheld using my Nikon D700 and Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 zoom in 12-bit NEF and processed using Apple Aperture 2.1.3. Infrared Pine

Infrared Skies

Infrared Skies Originally uploaded by etrigan63 Second in my IR attempts, this one came a little better as a B&W image. Photo was shot RAW and converted to grayscale using the channel controls in Lightroom. Something interesting to note is that light colored objects are reflecting IR light while dark objects are absorbing them.
